  Instruments

The instrument you play says a lot about who you are. Who do you want to be?

At Mad Hatter School of Music, we believe that music can and will be life changing. It is more than developing a skill. It is a way of enjoyment, of happiness, of sad times, and of joyous times. It is an outlet that anyone and everyone can use to release the passion that dwells within us all.  The only requirement is to have a desire to learn music.

Guitar

"The best music happens when you have a personal connection to it. That same philosophy can extend to the instrument you hold in your hands: if a guitar means something special, you're bound to do great things with it."

-Frank Lero

Violin

"When you play a violin piece, you are a storyteller, and you're telling a story."

-Joshua Bell

Percussion

"I love the percussion. It's a right brain, left brain thing. There are different beats, but cooperating together. It's your whole body doing it, you're doing the snare drum and the high hat with your hands and the bass drum with your foot. You're this whole motion machine."

-Shalom Harlow

Piano

"Color is the keyboard, the eyes are the harmonies, the soul is the piano with many strings. The artist is the hand that plays, touching one key or another, to cause vibrations in the soul."

-Wassily Kandinsky

Winds

"Music is your own experience, your own thoughts, your wisdom. If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn. They teach you there's a boundary line to music. But, man, there's no boundary line to art."

-Charlie Parker
